I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences at this shop, which is disappointing because I specifically come for Paul because he’s gentle and does a great job. On a previous visit, I asked for Paul and was still placed with the lady at the front despite clearly stating my preference. I explained to her that I have sensitive nail beds and I need someone gentle that’s why I requested Paul and she said “no” and told me to go sit back down. Most recently on 4/1, I made an appointment with Paul for 4:15 and arrived early. When I walked in, Paul had someone in his chair. I was greeted briefly but not asked anything further, so I signed in and sat down. Another customer came in after me and was greeted and asked what she had needed, which made me realize I should let someone know I had appointment as well. Before 4:15, I went to let Paul know I had arrived. I wasn’t called until 4:52, and I was told to go to a different station, not Paul’s. I explained that my appointment was with Paul, but he had took ANOTHER person in front of me. I ended up not being seated until after 5:00, despite having a 4:15 appointment. When I finally sat down, Paul apologized and I told him it was no biggie then he proceeds to tell me next time I should “say something.” I explained that I did speak up and that I had arrived early, but that wouldn’t have changed anything because he had someone in his chair when I got there already. On top of that, when I went to let him know I arrived he said “I see you”. The lady at the front was discussing the situation with her customer and implying that she had already spoken to me, which wasn’t accurate and highly unprofessional. I left because I was no longer interested in getting my nails done because I refused to have someone sitting next to me discussing MY situation with her customer. I remained patient throughout the entire process, but the lack of organization, accountability, and professionalism especially from the front desk continues to be an issue.
